Mount Pleasant is a large suburban town in Charleston County. It's the fourth largest municipality in South Carolina, and for several years it was one of the state's fastest growing areas. Located "East of the Cooper", Mount Pleasant is just across the Arthur Ravenel Bridge from downton Charleston. The first Eurpoean settlers arrived in 1696 and the area has enjoyed a rich history ever since. Today Mount Pleasant is home to approximately 90,000 residents and is a thriving coastal community.
